Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika while in mid flight, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a single visible rivet securing the eagle in position,with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting
